BUSINESS POLICY
Although we are running a small family business in remote province, however, during past 40 years, we have been running our business under the principal of Buddhism and business ethics all along. Because we sell goods which we eat, not only do we pay attention to quality of products but moral in producing products to consumer also and we shall continue our believe in religious. However, to be more modern, we have apply international code to our business in order to ease understanding to our trade partners.
Presently we have followed Global Compact-10 principal as guideline in running our business which cover four areas; (1) respect human right (2) labour (3) environment (4) anti-corruption. |
Global compact-10Human Rights
Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses. Labour Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining; Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour; Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour; and Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation. Environment Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges; Principle 8: undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
